Matcha Crave

I’m a sucker for anything matcha flavoured so I was pretty stoked to have discovered via Tokyo, a highly rated Japanese dessert cafe that specialises in traditional Japanese soft serves, pastries, and coffee.  The line ups are always incredibly long but I finally managed to pass by on a day that was relatively less busy.

Everything on the menu looks delicious but because I came on a full stomach I was only able to order a Uji Matcha Cone. The matcha ice cream was very rich and thick in flavour to a point where you can almost taste a hint of bitterness at the end of each bite.  The waffle cone was crunchy but nothing very memorable. I would come back again to try the rest of the desserts as it does do a good job in satisfying my match crave.
