One question always leads to another one. And the less willing you are to accept the answer, the more questions you will have.
When Job lost his children and his wealth in a single day (Job 1:13-19), he sank into an angry depression and resisted any attempted explanations by his friends. Yet he held out hope that someday there would be an answer from God. Even in the darkness Job could say, “[God] knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold” (23:10).
I have learnt in the past that God likes to take his time. As much as we would like an immediate answer, God just doesn’t always work that way. Just be patient and believe in his promises. In the meantime, instead of seeking an answer, learn to find peace in your problem by confronting them courageously.
